LOL It’s because you started with the song: “You better watch out”
so it goes on to “You better not cry, you better not pout, I’m telling you why: Santa Claus is coming to town.” What does a watch bird do anyway?
ah, totally miss that, thanks that makes sense now lol
The birds are good eating, they have awesome crafting feathers/fishing feathers, they also are great pest control, but they are one of the few birds that wil hunt and eat ticks, however once they know that this is there farm, it is said, they are better then a watch dog for screaeming the alarm be it company, or fox or owl etc etc
So, no Rudolph for supper? LOL! I’ve heard before that they are great for tick patrol, but not about their “watch dog” capabilities. Cool!
What is it?
guinea fowl
Guinea hens can be as noisy as peacocks but they don’t perch on the railings and poop all over the porch. They run around in a flock like lemmings and often like to roost in trees like wild turkeys. Also similar to turkeys and ducks that are allowed to roam, they will hide on a nest and show up weeks later with a brood. Cool birds with a lot of personality, you are going to love them. (they taste good, too).
Ha! Well, the person who said guard dog was half right; ) Guinea Fowl are cool, and a lot “cheep”er to keep than a dog or a donkey… Congratulations!
